About The Founders

We go above and beyond to make our patients feel confident!

Michael Pedro, MD

Board-certified anesthesiologist Michael Pedro, MD, and his wife Danielle founded MD Esthetics in 2018 to help patients age gracefully. Dr. Pedro believes the keys to achieving individualized natural looking beauty are to educate patients on how the aging process is affecting them through a comprehensive consultation, developing a long-term treatment plan, maintaining the high standards of quality, and utilizing evidence-based research and years of clinical expertise.

Dr. Pedro is a well-known and respected innovator who uses a holistic approach to combat aging and improve clinical outcomes. Dr. Pedro and the clinical team at MD Esthetics understand the complexity of factors that influence patients’ looks, such as genetics, environment, lifestyle, and psychology. He also understands that patients may be fearful of “looking fake” and therefore apprehensive in receiving treatment. To help overcome these fears, he uses the “Golden Ratio” to ensure your proportions are harmonized and then creates a tailored cosmetic treatment plan to meet your individual needs. Dr. Pedro received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and attended medical school at Saba University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has published numerous studies in prestigious medical journals and presents at medical conferences worldwide.

Danielle Pedro

The “D” in MD Esthetics! Danielle is the Co-Founder and COO of the MD Esthetics brand and is responsible for creating and implementing front and back-office processes for all corporate locations and the MD Esthetics Franchise.

She has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering with a focus on process improvement and Lean Six Sigma. After working in the supply chain field, she had an opportunity to shadow a salesperson and fell in love with the customer interaction, sales strategy, and independence that came along with that role. Danielle transitioned to sales soon thereafter and spent 8 years in the field before staying at home with her children.

Once Danielle was ready to get back to work, she wanted to become an esthetician given her passion for skincare and experience battling acne as a teen. After discussing the idea with Mike, they instead decided to combine their passions and open a medical aesthetics practice. The rest is history.
